1 - At first a meeting
With the ICCG, the meeting, it is a breath, it is a flavor, it is the salt which gives some taste, wrote father Jean Debruynne, for a long time world chaplain of the ICCG. The meeting is a relation situated in a place, one time one moment which marks every story of man and woman but also the story of people. So, God's story in its relation of alliance with its humanity to Sichem, today Naplouse, very old city situated in the valley in Samary. " This is the way he reached in a city situated in Samary called Sychar, not far from the earth given by Jacob to his son Joseph, there even where is Jacob's source. " (Jn 4, 1) It is there that Jesus meets the Samaritan, an extraordinary moment of interiority and metamorphosis of the heart. To Sichem, we come at the source of running water, " in this water which shapes the Man, grants him to God " ( Origène).
